I’ve spent more than 20 years working across digital development, ecommerce, systems, marketing and innovation — from large-scale corporate environments to independent businesses and brands of my own.
My career began in data, reporting and systems before progressing through a series of digital leadership roles at Howdens Joinery. Over nearly 21 years with the business, I moved into systems development, web and app development, UX, digital strategy and ultimately digital innovation, leading teams, projects and initiatives designed to solve real business problems through technology.
Alongside that career, I spent more than 12 years running my own digital agency, working hands-on with WordPress, WooCommerce, web development, hosting, analytics, paid advertising, SEO and digital marketing. That work included helping Kronch UK grow beyond £500,000 in annual sales and significantly increasing SATURA’s online performance, as well as designing and developing websites for businesses including Richmond Kettle Company.
Today, DigitalEmber brings all of that experience together. I work directly with businesses on websites, ecommerce, digital support, consultancy, content and marketing — while continuing to build and operate digital businesses and communities of my own.
That last point is important to me. I’m not advising businesses purely from theory. I deal with websites, ecommerce stores, advertising, content, customers, technology and the occasional digital headache every day too.
